Awarded to a second-year student enrolled full time in the Addiction and Mental Health Worker (1235) or Social Service Worker (1203) program who has been able to overcome challenging life experiences (such as but not limited to trauma, mental health issues, illness etc.) and whom through these adversities has been able to develop the coping skills, resiliency and courage required to pursue post-secondary education.
